Print tattoo stencil artwork at a chosen size

Tile an existing tattoo line drawing across regular paper for placement and scale checks. Keep the proportions of your finished design while choosing its printed width.

Start making your poster

Bring finished line art

Import a clean PNG or JPG of the stencil design. This tool can print it in grayscale but does not trace photographs into outlines, remove backgrounds or prepare thermal transfer files. Do that artwork preparation in the application you normally use, and crop unnecessary surrounding space there.

Size the subject, not the empty canvas

Exact size applies to the entire imported image. If a drawing fills only half of a 20 cm wide image, the drawing itself prints about 10 cm wide. Crop the source tightly or calculate the full-image width from the drawing’s share of the canvas. Keep the aspect ratio unchanged when comparing placement.

Check scale on ordinary paper first

Use 100% / Actual size and measure a known distance on the printed drawing. Assemble a large design with overlap, then compare it with the intended placement. This output is a regular tiled PDF, not a guarantee of compatibility with transfer printers or stencil paper; follow the equipment’s own instructions.

Help & FAQ

Does this turn a photo into a tattoo stencil?

No. It prints an existing drawing at a chosen scale. Automatic edge detection and background removal are not included.

Can I mirror the design?

This version includes rotation, but not mirroring. Mirror the source in your drawing app if your transfer process requires it.
