Use cases

Enlarge craft patterns across multiple pages

Print a sewing template, paper craft or tracing pattern at a useful physical size. Keep scale checks in the workflow before cutting your final material.

Start making your poster

Use an image with a known reference

Export the pattern as a high-resolution PNG or JPG. The maker does not import multi-page PDF patterns or vector sewing files. Keep any test square visible and avoid screenshots with perspective distortion. A photo of a paper pattern needs to be square to the camera before its dimensions are reliable.

Calculate the intended width

If a 10 cm wide pattern needs to become 15 cm wide, its scale factor is 1.5. When the imported canvas is tightly cropped to that pattern, enter 15 cm under Exact size. If the canvas includes margins, include them in the scale calculation or crop them away first.

Measure before cutting

Print at Actual size, then use a ruler on the test square and at least one longer distance. Small per-page scaling errors can accumulate across several sheets. Align the overlap and tape the back before tracing. Treat the result as a craft aid, not a calibrated engineering drawing.

Help & FAQ

Can I upload an existing sewing-pattern PDF?

Not in this version. Export the required design to a clear PNG, JPG or WebP first and verify its reference dimensions.

Will the paper overlap change the pattern scale?

Overlap repeats a strip for alignment; it does not enlarge the artwork. Remove only one repeated side when joining the pages.
